Random OCD Moment #1

I'm afraid I can't leave the blog on thirteen posts - here's a pointless filler one to get me to 14...

Esteban's weekly review #1...

As mentioned in a previous blog, here is Esteban's weekly review, direct from his pen itself. Well, actually it was typed up on his computer but that's a mere technicality.

"Greetings Amigos,

I am Esteban de Barack Obama Bin Laden Sanchez and I am here to give you my weekly take on the news of the last week or so. I am sorry if my post sucks because I have only recently learnt to use this miracle 'webernet' device after help from my good friend Homes. I am still not entirely convinced by this whole computer business but I am willing to give it a go for the advancement of my people, of my nation: Vive Le Mexico!

Anyway, first things first, I heard that two of these banks in America were taken over by the government for blah, blah, blah... All you need to know is that the banks were called "Fannie Mae" and "Freddy Mac" - hahahahaha! They sound like a pop group! But no seriously, I find it hard to take a bank seriously if they are named after a girl's fanjeet.

It would be like calling a bank over here "Clitoris". At least with that you could always make a joke out of the name for a slogan: "You always get more interest with Clitoris" or "Better value is harder to find... than Clitoris" are just a few that spring to mind. You know, I found a photo on the webernet earlier of a lady's fanjeet that looks like the statue at Lourde's of our lady Mary... I felt the need to get to my knees... anyway I'm rambling, I will move onwards.

Anyway, the next thing I want to talk about is the experiment that is going on in Switzerland. I thought they only made cheese and laundered money, but clearly not as I am told that the Swiss are attempting to put an end to the world with some sort of super death-ray gun hidden under the mountains. Well let me tell you this Mr Switzerland, Mexico will not stand by and let you! You can consider this an open declaration of war on your country as I am going to unite the forces of the mother land and defeat you - neither your pen-knives or chocolate bunnies can stand in my way!!!

Anyway, I must touch on other leaders and possible ones in my next point, the US Election. I am all for Mr Osama winning so he can show that minorities can triumph in America, and I am longing for the day an SA becomes President! But in all honesty I hope that the nice old man who makes chips wins, because he will give away free munchies!

But also, I love the lady who has been in the news this week who is his assistant or something, I think she is called Michael Palin. She is a proper redneck and I love the fact that she shoots her own food - I think that is incredibly sexy! If my little Grace was not so wonderful I would make a move - no woman can resist my charms...

Anyway, I must go now - I have to go pick up some purple Haze from a guy who is getting off a train. I hope to be back next week, but I am a busy man and I cannot promise anything... ;o)

Adios Amigos!"

Well that's all from Esteban. I'll be back to post episode 4 later in the week, and any other sudden brainwaves I have.

The eve of the end of the world?

I realise it's been a while since I've posted (nearly a week in fact), so I thought I'd give you a quick update of where I'm at. Episodes 1-4 are finished as first drafts (well episode 4's a second draft) as is episode 5. Episode 6 is half done, but I'm going to keep the last two back (mwu-ha-ha!)

Anyway, I'll post episode 3 for you, and shortly after that episode 4. Hopefully soon I'll have some images for you but at present James is still finishing his recycling project (http://chulk607.blogspot.com), but he assures me he's nearing completion on this. After this we can start doing some initial character sketching and post this up on the blog.

Additionally there's going to be a weekly post (either Sundays or Mondays, not sure yet) that is going to be a weekly news review written by Esteban. Look forward to it being as informative as an evening with Jade Goody.

Anyway, episode 3 can be found here:

Just thought I'd mention quickly that I've created a Youtube account and I'm going to use it for storing influences and ideas, such as the ones I've already discussed. It can be found here:

Episode 2 : None of that "Clone Wars" shit either...

As promised, Episode 2 is now available online for your perusal. Feeback, etc to the usual address:

Dem Bones

Slightlier later than scheduled, here's the last character description of Bones, Esteban's best friend, who can be seen in episode 1; which can be found here:

http://rapidshare.com/files/141144250/TCT_-_Webisode_I_-_Meet_The_Mexican_v1.1.doc.html

Here's his little potted bio:

"Name: Bones

Also known as: “Homes”, “Children’s Ward boy”.

Age: Around 25

Main Relationships: Esteban (best friend), Miguel (friend), Boris (friend)

Appearance:

Bones is so-called entirely due to his appearance. He stands about 6ft tall and is extremely lanky. He has a shaved head due to him trying to avoid a receding hairline, and deeply set blue eyes with pale skin.

He is not an ugly man as such, just very skinny, giving him an almost skeletal appearance. To contrast his appearance Bones can normally be seen wearing a huge dopey grin unless angry, when he can turn very suddenly.

Clothes:

Bones nearly always wears the same outfit: blue jeans and a black hoodie with the characters “:OD” written on it, which is a reference to his casual attitude towards drug taking. Bones will on occasion wear other shirts that relate to drug taking, the sort you would find at any novelty festival stand.

Personality:

Bones is a friendly, loyal chap who is best friends with Esteban. He is one of few people to truly stick by him, rather than use him for drugs or his house. He is also friends to some extent with Boris and Miguel, yet they see him as stupid and don’t truly consider him an equal.

Bones appears quite stupid, yet is smarter than he is given credit for, often able to hold his own in a battle of wits, but his general knowledge leaves plenty to be desired and he is easily led and can be gullible.

Whilst generally a very easy-going chap, Bones was previously in the army but was sent home in disgrace for smoking weed, and will recall these tales with glee. He is not to be crossed, as he does still have the training to take people down but it is rare he is that riled. He still lives with his parents, who believe he was kicked out of the army on legitimate medical grounds.

Bones does not have a job, and is currently collecting the dole. He hangs around with Esteban for the majority of the day and will often earn extra (although miserly) cash for carrying drugs for him.

Mannerisms:

Bones is very gangly and clumsy but spends most of his time stoned with blood-shot eyes and has a dopey laugh. His voice has a very broad west midlands accent, but when he is drunk or on pills he will tend to speed up his sentences and intersperse them with swearing and the word “buzzing”."

Sadly no pics of note, but don't worry, I'll post episode 2 online tomorrow for people to have a perusal of at their leisure.
